We are hiring a Software Engineer to aid the design, build and maintenance of our market data environment and associated analytics. The successful candidate will work alongside Pricing Quants and Risk Strats to productionise financial markets data and follow a proactive approach to service enhancements.
- Develop, support and productionise data and analytics which are integral to TradingHub's products
- Enhance your understanding of financial markets and how market data is used within our key products
- Contribute to new tools development for the purposes of data lineage, governance and reporting
- Research of data storage techniques and processing for large data sets
- Utilise our in-house big data language for large-scale modelling and analysis
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve and understand critical production issues
Requirements
- Industry software engineering experience, preferably within financial services
- Proficient with C#, Python, Java or similar
- Good knowledge of database design and data structures
- Proficiency with SQL-related technologies
- Knowledge of AWS such as ECS, S3, DynamoDB is desirable
- Evidence of exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and keen to work on multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
- Proactive and curious mindset, with accountability as a core personal value
