The Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract and take ownership of the delivery of strategic, cross-functional projects across our Engineering teams. Sitting within Engineering, you will drive medium to long-term initiatives from planning through to production, coordinating delivery across distributed teams while providing clear, regular visibility to senior stakeholders. You'll balance longer-term project roadmaps with short-term sprint and release cycles, ensuring teams are always aligned on our deliverables pipeline. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role for an experienced project leader who brings structure, momentum and transparency to complex programmes of work in a fast‑paced technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of project delivery.
- Establish and monitor project timelines, query logs and resource plans across teams.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Proactively identify dependencies, risks and resource conflicts, and drive their resolution.
- Facilitate agile ways of working, including sprint planning and product release cycles.
- Provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders for full transparency.
- Ensure all teams have clear visibility of the deliverables pipeline.
- Implement and champion project management best practices to meet evolving business and customer needs.
Requirements
- Experience in project management roles, delivering projects of varying scale to scope and timelines.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, business‑critical projects across multiple teams.
- Experience working in software, fintech or other technology‑led environments; financial markets experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a results‑driven, continuous‑improvement mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with proven experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and delegation skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
