About the Role
Trading 212 is looking for a Junior AML Associate to join our UK operation. You will be responsible for handling complex investigations and escalations from our Operational Support Teams, requiring deep analysis and critical thinking. This is a developmental role where your progress will be mentored by the more experienced analysts within our UK Investigations team. You will learn how to identify sophisticated financial crime patterns and contribute to the safety of our global platform.
What you’ll do
- Complex Investigations: Undertake detailed reviews including Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (EDD), Ongoing Customer Due Diligence, and high-risk customer reviews including: Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), Sanctions, and adverse media reviews.
- Information Gathering: Seek all possible relevant information for problem-solving; probe the facts and analyse issues from different perspectives to reach sound conclusions.
- Reporting & Documentation: Assist in drafting periodic compliance reporting for Senior Management and the Risk & Compliance Committee.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a detailed knowledge of AML/CTF laws and best practices to ensure your investigations meet the relevant requirements of the regulatory system.
- Collaborative Support: Assist in updating Trading 212's AML Program and relevant procedures based on emerging trends identified during your investigations.
