About Trading Technologies
Trading Technologies (TT) builds the platform professional traders rely on to access the world's derivatives, fixed income and cryptocurrency markets. Our customers — global banks, brokers, proprietary trading firms, hedge funds and exchanges — trust us to run trading infrastructure where availability and latency are measured in real money. TT is a global, PE-backed company with engineering hubs in the US, UK, Czech Republic, India and Singapore, and an active M&A strategy that is broadening the platform.
Role Summary
The SVP, Platform Operations leads how TT delivers, runs and continuously improves its production platform. This is a newly consolidated executive role that brings Systems Engineering, SRE/DevOps, Deployment, Platform Engineering, Service Improvement and Release Management into one organization with a single mandate: make TT's delivery faster, safer and more automated while raising reliability for customers who cannot tolerate downtime.
You will own the end-to-end deployment pipeline, production observability and incident management, and the SLO/SLI framework that defines what 'good' looks like for every customer-facing service. You will build the leadership layer underneath you, shape TT's global operating footprint, and act as the operational owner for integrating acquired products onto the TT platform.
Direct reports: Head of SRE; Head of Systems Engineering; team leads for Deployment, Platform Engineering, Service Improvement and Release Management.
Key partners: CTPO, Engineering leadership, SVP Infrastructure, CISO / Security, Product, Customer Support and line-of-business heads.
Primary Focus
- Reliability, Deployment, and Incident Management. The SVP defines and enforces SLOs/SLIs, owns the CI/CD pipeline, leads automated deployment strategy, drives P1/P2 incident response, and embeds SRE discipline across the engineering organization.
Key Deliverables:
- Low Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), minimal production incidents, and near-perfect achievement of Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Fast time-to-market and high throughput velocity through the CI/CD pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Transformation (Internal Development Platform) - Executive sponsor and operational lead for the Internal Development Platform (IDP) program. Own all phase deliverables, milestones, and budget; ensure the program delivers measurable improvement in deployment frequency, lead time, and defect rate. Integrate AI/automation progress into replanning; partner with the CTO to align engineering readiness with IDP rollout milestones.
- Operational Excellence & SRE - Own the SRE Scorecard and drive continuous improvement year-over-year. Lead P1/P2 incident response; deliver 10% MTTR reduction in 1H and 50% by 2H. Reduce toil through runbook automation, self-healing strategies, and AI-driven agent frameworks for recurring manual tasks.
- Systems Engineering - Own the team responsible for operating systems, authentication platforms (IAM, SSO, directory services), and the foundational platform plumbing underpinning both production and the development toolchain. Own cloud account administration: account management, access controls, and configuration layer across AWS and other cloud providers.
- CI/CD & Deployment Maturity - Own the end-to-end deployment pipeline; ensure application artifacts from Engineering are deployable through automated, reliable pipelines. Establish and enforce deployment standards across all lines of business.
- SLO/SLI Governance - Define and document SLIs/SLOs for all customer-facing services. Provide monthly SLA adherence reporting for top-tier clients. Serve as the internal expert and final approver on new SLA commitments.
- AI-First Operations - Drive AI-first development practices within Platform Ops. Build an agent framework to automate ≥10 recurring manual tasks per quarter. Deliver regular Tech Talks on AI examples to accelerate adoption across engineering.
- Organization, Talent & Global Footprint - Build a leadership layer with clear functional domains and healthy spans of control, so the organization executes at pace without single points of failure. Execute TT's global location strategy for Platform Operations — growing capability in our engineering hubs to achieve follow-the-sun coverage while protecting operational quality. Hire, develop and retain a high-performing, geographically distributed team; set standards for engineering craft and operational rigor.
- M&A Operational Integration - Lead operational due diligence audits (CI/CD maturity, monitoring, incident response) for all M&A targets. Produce Operational Readiness Plans during confirmatory diligence. Ensure acquired products meet standard MTTR and SLO targets within 30 days post-migration.
- Budget, Vendors & Tooling - Own the Platform Operations budget, including observability, CI/CD and automation tooling; manage key vendor relationships and drive cost efficiency without compromising resilience.

- Experience leading large, geographically distributed teams and building capability in global engineering hubs.
- Hands-on experience with M&A operational due diligence and post-acquisition platform integration.
- Demonstrated results modernizing CI/CD and automating deployment pipelines at scale.
