We arelooking for an experienced Head Barista to lead the team to ensure that coffeeat Trading Post Coffee Roasters is always delivered to the very best standard.This means ensuring that the team are always engaging with guests, that thequality of the coffee served to our guests is always consistent, and that aprompt speed of service is always provided. You’ll have top attention todetail, along with a genuine passion for all things coffee. You will becomfortable working with our top-of-the-range machines and grinders and have astrong understanding of at-home brewing methods to be able to adviseyourcustomers.

Leadingfrom the front, our Head Baristas demonstrate a 'we're all in this together'attitude, experience in recruiting and developing a team, managing andcontrolling stock, and what it takes to be an effective leader. You’ll beconfident in a customer-focused environment and know what it takes to alwaysdeliver top-quality coffee and great hospitality.

WhatYou Can Expect Your Responsibilities to Be

• Dialling ingrinders for all blends and single origins to the brand standard
• Open and closedown the coffee section independently
• Train anddevelop team members and actively encourage continuous professionaldevelopment
• Maintain thestandard speed of service, coffee quality and overall consistency, in a fast-paced environment
• Pouringadvanced latte art and have an understanding of alternative milks
• Maintaincleanliness standards at all times
• Demonstrate an understandingof all Trading Post blends and single origins including tasting notes andrecipes
• Consistentlydeliver great hospitality with huge personality within the hospitalitystandards framework
• Undertakeregular training and always be striving for self-improvement
• Lead andsupport a busy team and take an active part in contributing to team-drivenresults
• Display a smartand professional appearance, striving to represent Trading Post CoffeeRoasters in a positive way
