We are looking for a skilled Barista with top attention to detail, efficiency and cleanliness along with a genuine passion for all things coffee. You will have some experience in a high-volume, quality coffee environment, serving specialty espresso and pouring expertly steamed milk. You will also be comfortable working with our top-of-the-range machines and grinders and develop a strong understanding of at-home brewing methods to be able to advise your customers. Our brilliant Baristas demonstrate a 'we're all in this together' attitude, confidence in a customer-focused environment and know what it takes to deliver top-quality coffee and great hospitality at all times.
What You Can Expect Your Responsibilities to Be
- Dialling in grinders for all blends and single origins to the brand standard
- Open and close down the coffee section independently
- Maintain the standard speed of service, coffee quality and overall consistency, in a fast-paced environment
- Pouring basic latte art and have an understanding of alternative milks
- Learn and assist across all working aspects of the venue, as a part of the Trading Post team
- Be the face of positivity and motivation, bringing your best and most positive self at all times
- Consistently deliver great hospitality with huge personality within the hospitality standards framework
- Undertake regular training and always be striving for self-improvement
- Work to support a busy team and take an active part in contributing to team-driven results
- Display a smart and professional appearance, always striving to represent Trading Post Coffee Roasters in a positive way
