What You’ll Do
- Scan global markets in real time and publish concise news flashes, earnings highlights and macro takeaways directly in the Trading 212 app.
- Craft high-impact push notifications that alert clients to major moves, breaking news and unique insights.
- Maintain an editorial calendar for deeper features, e.g., sector round-ups and “week ahead” pieces that can be doubled as blog or social copy.
- Track content performance, iterate on tone and format, and champion new storytelling ideas like short-form video and data visualisations.
- Stay on top of regulatory and licensing requirements for financial news distribution.
What You Need To Have
- 1-2 years creating real-time editorial or newsroom content on equities, ETFs or macro events.
- Superb written English and an instinct for the headline that matters now.
- Ability to translate earnings releases, filings and data drops into jargon-free takeaways within minutes.
- Basic analytics skills to gauge impact.
- Familiarity with compliance standards for investment communications: FCA, ESMA or equivalent.
- Nice-to-have: experience with push-notification tooling, financial-data terminals (Bloomberg / Refinitiv), or SEO for news.
