We are an Australian children's IP company on a mission to give every child the emotional tools to thrive, and we are looking for our first UK team member to help us launch. The R.O.O. Wellbeing Program is a flexible, evidence-based, 8-module SEL curriculum for primary school students Years K–3, built around original illustrated stories and co-developed with a leading child psychiatrist. The program has already been piloted internationally with 100+ students including children with special needs, with strong clinical outcomes documented by a child psychologist. We are now bringing it to the UK, and we need the right person to lead.

The Role — UK Education & Clinical Consultant (Part-Time / Freelance)

This is a part-time flexible role for someone who is passionate about children's wellbeing and has deep knowledge of the UK education system and SEMH framework.

What you’ll do:

  • Review and adapt the R.O.O. Program to align with UK curriculum frameworks and good practice.
  • Identify and engage a number of UK pilot schools for 2026.
  • Support schools through the early phase of the pilot — teacher orientation, implementation guidance, feedback collection.
  • Represent Tradie Roo & Co at relevant UK education and networking conferences.

Who you are:

  • Educational psychologist, SEMH specialist, or experienced primary school educator with SEL expertise.
  • Deep familiarity with UK primary curriculum, PSHE, and/or SEMH provision.
  • A solid network in the UK primary school system.
  • Based in the UK.
  • Flexible enough to manage a role in an early stage start up.

What we offer:

  • Paid consulting engagement (rate negotiable based on experience).
  • Flexibility — this role could fit around your existing commitments.
  • Ground floor involvement in an innovative, growing business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong background in Educational Consulting and Education and Psychology fields.
  • Practical, hands-on, solution focused approach.
  • Proven experience with the UK educational system at a senior level.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
