Casual Relief Teachers – Secondary VET automotive

Pay: $415.04 – $462.88 per day + Super

About the Role

As a Tradewind Casual Relief Teacher, you will work across a selection of primary and secondary schools. We match your skills, experience and availability to the right schools to ensure you enjoy each placement and feel supported throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs across different schools
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide clear handover notes and support daily routines
  • Supervise students during recess or lunchtime as required

Skills & Experience

  • Current and valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Trained and experienced in VET – automotive, engineering
  • Completed teaching qualification
  • Ability to confidently manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
  • Ability to provide two education‑based senior references (mentor teachers accepted for new graduates)
