About the Role
As a Tradewind Casual Relief Teacher, you will work across a selection of primary and secondary schools. We match your skills, experience and availability to the right schools to ensure you enjoy each placement and feel supported throughout.
What you can expect
- Consistent CRT work in schools aligned to your preferences
- Pay rate of $415.04–$462.88 per day + Super (pending experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs across different schools
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide clear handover notes and support daily routines
- Supervise students during recess or lunchtime as required
Skills & Experience
- Current and valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Trained and experienced in VET – automotive, engineering
- Completed teaching qualification
- Ability to confidently manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Ability to provide two education‑based senior references (mentor teachers accepted for new graduates)
