About the Role

This is more than just a job – it\’s a chance to become part of a student\’s learning journey.

As an Education Support Worker in a Special Development School, you\’ll support students with additional learning needs both in and out of the classroom. You\’ll assist with :

  • Learning support – working alongside teachers to engage students in meaningful classroom activities
  • Creating safe and nurturing learning environments
  • Personal care (meals, toileting, and personal support) for students who need it
  • Promoting independence and developmental goals for students

Your role is to partner with teachers to ensure every student can learn, participate, and grow.

Role Requirements

  • A minimum of Certificate III in Disability or Certificate III in Education Support
  • Experience supporting people with disabilities (in community, residential, or school settings)
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • A genuine interest in working with children in a school environment
  • Two professional references (one must be managerial)
  • Current First Aid / CPR, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Screening (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to assist with personal care duties as required
