Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounting Teacher. We are working alongside a wonderful sixth form college located near leafy Clapham Common, currently seeking an experienced and passionate Accounting Teacher to start in September 2025 for the academic year, with the prospect of securing a permanent contract. This is a full-time, long-term role, paid on the inner London NJC scale 1 – 9 (£37,057 – £54,604).
You will be part of the Business Studies department but will have the autonomy and responsibility to plan and deliver the Accounting T Level course.
The college boasts superb resources, including a green screen, and values vocational education as highly as traditional academic courses.
Applicants must have relevant qualifications, including QTS, to teach Accounting.
To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable), and professional references
- Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment where possible
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
