Tradewind Recruitment are working with a large, well-organised 3-form entry primary school in Slough, and they are seeking a Year 3 Class Teacher to join them as soon as possible. This is a long-term role until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend or become permanent for the right candidate.

With three or four classes per year group, teachers benefit from shared planning, clear schemes of work and a collaborative approach across the school. The Role
You will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons that build on pupils' progress from Key Stage 1. You will work closely with two other Year 3 teachers, benefiting from joint PPA and established planning formats. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, teaching and assessing the Year 3 curriculum.
- Working closely with parallel teachers to share resources and ideas.
- Setting clear expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Attending meetings, contributing to the wider school community and maintaining good communication with parents.
- Ensuring all children feel safe, supported and motivated to achieve.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong classroom practice and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Experience teaching in UK primary schools.
- Confident behaviour management and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Open to ECTs and experienced teachers with the right skills and commitment.
