The Role

The school are seeking an experienced or ambitious Year 3 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and support pupils as they build confidence and independence in Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing targeted support where needed
  • Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with the parallel Year 3 teacher and wider KS2 team

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
