We are currently seeking a committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in East Finchley (3-form entry).
Role details
- Start: ASAP until July 2026
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 12:15pm - 3:15pm
- Key Stage: KS1
Responsibilities
- Support the KS1 teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
- Assist learning activities and behavioural management to create a positive environment
- Provide targeted support for pupils with ASD/SEN as required
- Adapt support to individual pupil needs and be patient, nurturing and confident in interactions
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience in a primary school setting
- Strong experience supporting children with ASD/SEN
- Must hold a Child Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Patient, nurturing, and confident supporting learning and behaviour
