Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in primary education? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to register for full-time opportunities within a range of welcoming primary schools across the Worksop area. We are looking for professionals who are committed to helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and personally.
The Role
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Work closely with class teachers and SENDCOs to deliver engaging and inclusive learning.
- Support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence and independence.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
