Tradewind are working with an independent specialist residential school for boys aged 11 - 18 with social, emotional and mental health needs, including those with harmful sexualised behaviour, based in Acton Green, Worcestershire. The provision is part of a small community where professionals from the three disciplines of Education, Therapy and Care work together to achieve the best outcomes for young people who, because of the difficulties they have experienced, have been unable to remain in mainstream education.

The school is looking for a full-time Maths Teacher to start as soon as possible. The school follows the national curriculum, so prior experience teaching maths across KS3 & KS4 is essential. It isn't essential to have previously worked within an SEMH provision, but you would need to have strong behaviour management, a real passion and desire to help support these students through their exams, and a level of empathy and understanding for pupils who have social, emotional and mental health challenges.

This is a very unique opportunity to work in a niche and special provision that is incredibly passionate about teaching and supporting their students.
