About the School

The schools provide specialist education for pupils from KS2- KS5 with a range of needs from Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Complex Learning Difficulties Disabilities (CLDD) and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). They pride themselves on a warm, nurturing, therapeutic and inclusive ethos, with a strong emphasis on personalised learning and creating a safe environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

The Role

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are:

  • Experienced in supporting children with SEND
  • Flexible and confident in adapting to a variety of needs and routines
  • Proactive, using initiative to support learning in the classroom
  • Based locally in the Oldbury area or able to commute easily

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include: Supporting pupils with severe and complex needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
