Over the last 8 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. We are looking for a Pastoral Leader to join our team and take a proactive role in supporting the well-being, behaviour, and attendance of our students. This is a vital position for someone who is passionate about helping young people thrive both personally and academically. We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with young people and motivating them to achieve their best Has knowledge of Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP) and experience of leading SEMH interventions Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills Can stay calm under pressure and manage complex situations, including behaviour incidents, with empathy and professionalism Has a genuine commitment to supporting student's personal development, well-being and safeguarding Is confident working with staff, families and external agencies to support students Can use data or is willing to develop skills to track and improve behaviour and attendance Works well as part of a team and can also use their initiative to make a positive impact
