Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant who'd be interested in working at a SEMH school in Willenhall. This role will run until the end of the term, with the opportunity to be extended.

About the Role:

  • Support students with SEMH, both in and out of the classroom
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to help pupils re-engage with learning
  • Build trusting, professional relationships that promote positive behaviour
  • Assist teachers in creating a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to behaviour plans and pastoral support programmes
  • Access to a Vehicle.

  • Strong communication, resilience and emotional intelligence
