OFFICE ASSISTANT/ RECEPTION in Willenhall

We are seeking an experienced, efficient, and approachable Office Administrator to join a supportive team at a Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 Pupil Referral Unit in Walsall. Welcome visitors to the school, dealing courteously and efficiently with parents, local authority officials, medical officers, suppliers, and other visitors. Manage the switchboard, dealing effectively with telephone calls, transferring callers to relevant staff, and taking and passing on messages promptly. Monitor entry systems for the main gate and reception area, ensuring safeguarding and security procedures are followed at all times. Communicate effectively with parents via telephone, email, or written correspondence. Prepare letters and mailings using database and mail merge systems. Maintain the tidiness and presentation of the school office and meeting rooms. Experience in using specialized school software such as SIMS or similar platforms. Flexible, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
