Tradewind Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Halton to recruit an experienced SEND Administrator to join their team as soon as possible, with the role potentially running until July, with the potential for a permanent post for the right candidate.

The Role - SEND Administrator
As SEND Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the school's SEND provision and ensuring statutory processes are completed accurately and on time. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing SEND administration and records
- Using SIMS to maintain accurate student data
- Updating and managing provision maps
- Preparing and submitting SEND referrals
- Supporting the administration of EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
- Liaising with internal staff and external agencies
- Ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and deadlines
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a SEND Administrator (or similar SEND support role)
- Strong working knowledge of SIMS
- Experience with provision mapping
- Proven experience submitting SEND referrals and EHCPs
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A professional, confidential, and child-centred approach
- Experience working in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
