A welcoming and inclusive school in Wembley is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils across the classroom and help remove barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in class, either one-to-one or in small groups
- Assisting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
- Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support
- Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Encouraging independence, engagement, and confidence in learners
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
