Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language needs, SEMH, and other additional learning needs.
- Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive, and accessible lessons.
- Helping students develop confidence, independence, and resilience both academically and socially.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting students\' emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.
- Adapting learning activities and resources to meet individual education plans and learning needs.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure every learner receives the support they need.
- Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where all students can flourish.

- Has GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Is patient, caring, and able to adapt their approach to meet individual student needs.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
- Is proactive, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Can confidently support positive behaviour in line with school policies.
- Has experience working with children or young people in education, care, youth work, coaching, or similar settings (desirable but not essential).
- Is eligible to work in the UK and willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
