Are you passionate about Maths and enjoy helping students build confidence and succeed? Would you like to play a key role in supporting learning in a friendly and well-resourced secondary school? We are working with secondary schools in Wellingborough that are looking for motivated Maths Instructors to join their teams from February half term. This role is ideal for Maths graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with strong subject knowledge who wants to inspire students and make a positive impact in the classroom.
What the Role Involves:
- Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 to develop understanding, confidence, and enjoyment in Maths
- Delivering focused small-group or one-to-one sessions to reinforce classroom learning
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, resources, and targeted interventions
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners
- Contributing to homework clubs, revision sessions, and enrichment activities
Who We're Looking For:
- Strong Maths knowledge, ideally with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, classroom support, or coaching is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence, organisation, and a proactive attitude
- Passion for helping students succeed and willingness to develop in the role
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
