We are currently looking for a qualified History Teacher to join a secondary school in South Warwickshire, with an ASAP start available.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a passionate History teacher who enjoys engaging students and delivering high-quality lessons across the secondary age range.
The successful candidate will be teaching History from KS3 through to KS5, working alongside a supportive department and wider school team.
The role
- Teaching History across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
- Tracking and supporting student progress
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the History department
- Taking an active role in the wider life of the school
We're looking for:
- QTS with a specialism in History
- Experience teaching History at secondary level
- Confidence teaching across KS3 - KS5
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for History and helping students achieve their potential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
