We’re currently working with a specialist SEN school in Warrington who are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in September for the full academic year. This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils with autism (ASD), SEMH, ADHD, and complex learning needs, so would suit someone who is confident working in a structured and supportive SEN education environment.

The school has a strong, experienced support team in place and is looking to secure a reliable SEN Teaching Assistant early to ensure consistency for pupils from the start of the academic year. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), SEN Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker, or someone looking to build a long-term career in the education sector.

The role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support learning and behaviour
  • Supporting routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
  • Working with pupils with ASD, SEMH, and additional needs

We’re looking for:

  • Experience in SEN, education, care, or support work
  • A calm, patient, and consistent approach
  • Someone reliable and able to commit to a full academic year role
  • Full-time availability from September
