Tradewind Education is currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist SEN School supporting pupils across Primary and Secondary age ranges. The Role | SEN School Teaching Assistant

  • Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and speech & language needs
  • Work flexibly across Primary and Secondary classrooms
  • Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans
  • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
  • Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development

This role requires someone who is patient, resilient, flexible and proactive, with the confidence to adapt to different age groups and learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have recent experience working in an SEN school or specialist provision
  • Are confident supporting pupils with complex needs
  • Can work across different key stages (KS1-KS4)

  • Team Teach training or equivalent behaviour management experience is highly desirable.
