The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes across a range of subjects and year groups when their usual teacher is unavailable. You will ensure students remain engaged, focused and well behaved while completing work provided by teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4. Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students complete the work provided. Maintaining a calm, positive and purposeful classroom environment. Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Supporting students with their learning where appropriate. Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson progress and student behaviour. Responding appropriately to any issues or concerns during lessons. Contributing to the smooth and effective running of the school day. About You The successful candidate will be: Confident working with secondary-age students. Reliable, organised and professional.
