Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a primary school this September? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across North Mansfield to recruit dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time and part-time roles starting in September. These positions offer the opportunity to make a genuine difference by supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in both 1:1 and small group settings.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
- Support children with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language difficulties.
- Deliver interventions in phonics, reading, writing and maths.
- Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning and remove barriers to education.
- Promote positive behaviour and help pupils build confidence and independence.
What We're Looking For
- Have previous experience supporting children with SEND within a school or similar setting.
- Be patient, caring and resilient.
- Have excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential with relevant experience).
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Salary
£90 - £105 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and the responsibilities of the role, in line with Fair Work Agency guidance.
