The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: Nursery settings across North Somerset in Nailsea, Backwell, Clevedon, Portishead & Weston-Super-Mare

Hours: 8:30am - 17:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Pay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you experienced in engaging in child-initiated learning and working with young learners? Are you proactive, energetic and enthusiastic? Are you familiar with the EYFS framework for learning? Do you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 support staff qualification? OR Do you have experience working in a Nursery or Primary setting?

We are recruiting creative and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants for a chain of nurseries across North Somerset for day to day, short, medium and long-term placements. These settings support a wide range of children with varying needs and are committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment with a child-centred approach. Staff are proud to be part of this warm and welcoming chain of nurseries, working together to provide a safe and stimulating space for early development. Children feel valued and flourish through rich, play-based and cross-curricular learning experiences.

Requirements for the Nursery Assistant role:

  • Experience of working in childcare settings in the UK.
  • The ability to inspire, engage and support children from all backgrounds and of all nursery ages.
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week between 8.30am and 17.30pm.
  • Willing to take on training and development provided by the agency and Nursery.
