Unqualified English Teacher – Wellingborough Location: Wellingborough Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-Time – Long-Term, with potential for permanent employment Salary: £100-£160 per day (depending on experience & school support) Do you have a passion for English and want to inspire young minds, even if you don\’t yet hold Qualified Teacher Status? We are working with a number of welcoming secondary schools in Wellingborough that are seeking motivated, unqualified English Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. These full-time roles are perfect for English graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with relevant experience but without formal QTS, who want to start their journey in education. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students Work alongside experienced teachers to support lesson planning and curriculum delivery Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment Differentiate teaching methods to support a range of student abilities and learning needs Assist with marking, assessments, and tracking student progress under supervision Participate fully in school safeguarding, training, and professional development Who We\’re Looking For: A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject Previous experience working with young people or within education is advantageous Confident and enthusiastic communicator with a passion for teaching English Organised, resilient, and dedicated to helping students reach their potential Open to feedback and keen to learn-an excellent opportunity for those considering teacher training such as PGCE or apprenticeship routes Must be willing to apply for or hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate Why Join Us?
