Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified Science teacher with a specialism in Chemistry or Physics looking for a new supply role for September 2026 in South Manchester? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented Science teacher to join a successful secondary academy in Trafford. This is a full-time long-term supply teacher role from September 2026 onwards to cover a temporary absence.
Responsibilities
- Teacher of Science to GCSE, with a preference for Chemistry or Physics specialists.
- Five days a week.
- Positive, confident classroom management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning.
- Innovative teacher able to inspire students through excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science.
- The school is interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS Teachers, or further education teachers with experience of teaching students aged 11 to 16.

The school is an oversubscribed secondary academy for girls. Ofsted Good – November 2023. The following remarks summarize pupil attitudes: "Students' behaviour is good. Requirements
