The school provides education for pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). As the English Teacher, you will deliver creative and engaging lessons that develop students' reading, writing and communication skills while building confidence and self-esteem. You will recognise that every learner has a unique journey and adapt your teaching to ensure all students experience success.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Can teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Has experience supporting students with additional needs or is eager to develop within specialist education
- Builds strong, positive relationships with young people
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management through restorative and relational approaches
- Has high expectations alongside compassion and understanding
- Is committed to inclusive education and safeguarding
