Tradewind Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Business & ICT to join a welcoming secondary school in Rotherham on a temporary basis, starting after the October half-term break. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher, or an ECT looking to develop their experience, to join a supportive school and make a positive impact on students' learning and progress.
The Role
- Planning and delivering engaging Business and ICT lessons across the secondary age range.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting students to make strong academic and personal progress.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or have relevant teaching experience.
- Have experience teaching Business and/or ICT at secondary level.
- Be passionate about delivering engaging and relevant lessons.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be reliable, approachable and professional.
- Be able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
