Overview
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of mainstream primary schools across Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom while gaining valuable experience in education.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils\β learning and development. Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting children with varying abilities, including those with SEND
- Assisting with behaviour management and pastoral care
Requirements / What we\\\βre looking for
- Has experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
- Is patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting young learners
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check
- Can provide references covering the last two years
