Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a small and welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest who are seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team from June 2026. This is a rewarding full-time role supporting pupils who display social, emotional and mental health needs, alongside a range of learning difficulties.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support that enables pupils to feel safe, engaged and confident within the classroom environment. The school prides itself on its nurturing approach and strong sense of community. This role would suit a patient, resilient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting children with additional needs within a primary setting.
