Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you seeking a full-time role in a supportive school with the opportunity to secure a permanent position? Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
  • Support behaviour management, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in learning
  • Assist in planning and delivering activities to support academic and social development
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff
  • Help create a structured, safe, and nurturing classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs
  • Backgrounds in education, care, youth work, or mental health support are highly desirable
  • Calm, patient, and resilient with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and able to adapt to different pupil needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
