Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a compassionate and resilient 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in a caring primary school in the Radcliffe area of Bury. This rewarding role involves working closely with one child to help them access learning, build confidence, and achieve personal progress in the classroom. The pupil may require support with communication, emotional regulation, or attention during the school day. You will be part of a strong inclusion team and receive guidance from experienced staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with SEN experience or a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Adapt learning activities to suit pupil needs
- Encourage positive behaviour strategies
- Build a trusting and supportive relationship
- Support transitions and routines
- Work closely with the teacher and SENCO
- Monitor and report pupil progress
