Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistant in Driffield to work at an excellent secondary school. This is to start ASAP and will last until at least 15 June 2026. This is a full time position, and is a temporary role. Payment for this position will be between £95 and £105 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
The school is accessible via public transport and by car. They are part of a small, but growing academy trust, and success in this role will potentially lead to further positions within the trust. There is a large on site car park for candidates that do drive.
You will be responsible for ensuring that students have full support in their lessons to make strong progress. You will typically be supporting students with additional needs, and will need to display a calm and understanding manner with students to ensure that they thrive. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the class teachers, and will work closely with the head of SEND to ensure that all learners' needs are met.
Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
Requirements- Has experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Has a teaching assistant qualification (ideal)
- Have experience working within schools in the UK
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the full CV History
