A Complex Needs Teaching Assistant – Full Time role in a specialist setting.

Our education recruitment agency is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive special needs primary school in Altrincham, who are seeking a full-time Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting primary-aged pupils with complex needs, including a range of learning, communication, sensory and behavioural needs.

About the School

Your Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with complex needs

  • Supporting children with communication difficulties, sensory needs and behaviour

  • Assisting with personalised learning and care plans

  • Helping pupils access the curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals

We\\\’re Looking For Someone Who

  • Has experience supporting children with complex needs, SEND, ASD, or similar

  • Is patient, nurturing and adaptable

  • Confident supporting pupils with additional care or behavioural needs

  • Can build strong, positive relationships with young children

  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)
