Tradewind are seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Flexible Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in local Blackpool and Fylde schools from January 2026.

Roles include full-time, part-time, and day-to-day positions, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.

As a Teaching Assistant, you\’ll:

Provide tailored support to children with SEN, aiding their social and academic development through 1:1 and small group sessions.
Collaborate with teachers, fellow assistants, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Assist with behaviour management both in the classroom and throughout the school environment.Requirements:

Previous experience in an educational setting.
Preferably, experience working with individuals with SEN.
A comprehensive educational and employment background.
Availability for a minimum of two days per week.
Demonstrated flexibility.Essential requirements:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
