As a Teacher of History, you will deliver engaging lessons to students from KS3 – KS5, ensuring development and honing their analytic skills. The role involves full teaching and classroom management including planning, marking and the delivery and structuring of extra-curricular activities that complement the curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Teach History to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to the development of the History department and wider School Community
- Support students with additional needs and tailor lessons to suit diverse and adaptive learning styles
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
- Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching experience is desirable)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A passion for history and student development
- Commutable to Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
