About the Role:

As a Teacher in an Alternative Provision, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students who have faced challenges in mainstream education. You will be working with small groups or 1:1, delivering a tailored curriculum that supports both academic progress and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects
  • Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs
  • Build positive relationships and provide a safe, nurturing environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external agencies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working in alternative provision, PRUs, or SEN settings is highly desirable
