This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, offering flexibility alongside valuable school-based experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absences
- Ensure students complete the work that has been set
- Maintain a calm, focused, and respectful classroom environment
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues
Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with young people (school-based or otherwise)
- Is confident leading a classroom independently
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills
- Is reliable, adaptable, and professional
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
