Are you a Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for a rewarding full-time role in a supportive and nurturing school environment? Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming village primary school in the Nottingham area for a Key Stage 2 Teacher, starting in September 2026. This is a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract.

The Role

  • Full-time teaching role within Key Stage 2
  • Fixed-term contract for one academic year (September 2026 - July 2027)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progression
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive staff team

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (or strong placement experience for ECTs)
  • A nurturing, enthusiastic, and proactive teaching approach
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
