Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a range of welcoming primary schools and children's centres across Walthamstow, Waltham Forest, who are seeking Supply Nursery Staff to support their Early Years settings from February 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Nursery Practitioners or newly qualified staff who are passionate about early childhood development and are looking for flexible work. Assignments can be short-term, long-term or daily supply, making this role ideal for those seeking variety, work-life balance, or a pathway into a longer-term position.
The successful candidates will be working with children in nursery and early years settings, supporting learning through play, assisting with daily routines, and helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Roles are full-time during placements, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children in Early Years, nursery, or childcare settings (paid or placement-based)
- Hold a relevant childcare qualification (or be newly qualified)
- Demonstrate a caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child development
- Be reliable, adaptable, and confident working in new environments
