About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join one of our schools based in Sunderland. This flexible role is ideal for someone with practical maintenance skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing school buildings
- Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of school premises
- Conducting routine checks (fire alarms, security systems, heating, etc.)
- Supporting with deliveries, room set-ups, and site safety
- Responding to urgent maintenance issues as needed
Requirements
