Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Sunderland from September 2026 until April 2027. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a passionate Physical Education specialist who enjoys creating engaging lessons and encouraging students of all abilities to develop their skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for sport. The successful candidate will join a committed department and play a key role in delivering high-quality PE provision across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and well-structured PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a variety of practical sports and theoretical PE content
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum expectations
- Monitor student progress and provide support to help learners achieve their potential
- Promote teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude towards physical activity
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a safe learning environment
- Support the wider PE department and contribute to extracurricular activities where required
