Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be supporting a welcoming secondary school in Trafford who are seeking a talented Teacher of Art and Design to join their team. This full-time role is offered on a short-term supply basis from 9th November, initially for approximately two weeks to cover a teacher undertaking jury service. The booking may be extended depending on the length of the court case. The Role We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art and Design specialist who can inspire students, encourage artistic expression and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons. You will: Teach Art and Design across Key Stage 3, five days per week. Deliver engaging, inspiring and differentiated lessons that encourage creativity and develop practical artistic skills. Use confident, calm behaviour management rooted in AfL principles. Adapt teaching to meet the evolving needs and abilities of students. Encourage students to explore different artistic techniques, materials and approaches. What You'll Need QTS, QTLS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification. Experience teaching Art and Design, ideally within a secondary school setting. An enhanced DBS check and, if applicable, overseas police clearances. A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps.
