About the Role
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
- Teaching a broad and balanced History curriculum
- Bringing historical events, themes, and interpretations to life
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
- Assessing progress and providing constructive, meaningful feedback
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Working collaboratively with departments and senior leaders
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

Requirements
- QTS or QTLS (or strong FE History teaching experience)
- Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History education
- Adaptable, proactive, and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Two professional references covering the last two years
